Bird poop

My phantom face swelling is slowly dissipating. I had on numerous occasions this week decided that I was a swelling specialist, and diagnosed myself with a heap of conditions, diseases, and incurable ailments. Elephantitias was among the more obscure, and I’m happy to report that I don’t have that. I think that google is a wonderful invention, but it does have the ability to freak out any hypochondriacs, or anyone for that matter.

Moving on.

I started grad school a month back and I’m happy to report that after of month of wondering what I had gotten myself into… I think I found my grove and will not be a DenSem drop out.

Good quote:

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. -Viktor Frankl

That’s all I got. Bye!

I am also a google self-diagnoser. It’s dangerous territory! And congrats on doing the grad school thing; you won’t regret it. AND the Victor Frankl quote is great; I don’t know if you’ve read his amazing book, “A Man’s Search for Meaning,” but I think you’d like it. As far as you coming to visit Portland, if you’re still interested, I can’t wait!! But I can’t tell you any good dates yet until I get a job. Which hasn’t quite happened yet. So anyway, take care, and we’ll talk soon!
